Curtis L Boyte, 71, of Mendenhall, Mississippi, passed away Monday, February 3, 2020 at his home in Mendenhall, Mississippi. He was born Wednesday, March 17, 1948.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 5, 2020, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m at the Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Mendenhall.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday, February 6, 2020, at 2:00 PM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Mendenhall. The Burial will follow in Mendenhall City Cemetery. Bro. Kevin Walker will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Mendenhall is in charge of arrangements. (601) 847-4401

Mr. Boyte was a member of Mendenhall Church of God. He also served in the U.S. Army, during the Vietnam War. Mr. Boyte was a jack of all trades.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul Boyte and Mary Cooley; sister, Evelyn Bounds.

Survivors include his wife, Martha Boyte; sons, Curtis Boyte (Etta), Sammy Boyte (Mickie); daughter, Mary Ann Bain (Jeff) ; brothers, James Boyte (Ann), George (Sam) Boyte (Nancy), Larry Boyte (Sue), Billy Boyte; sisters, Veronica Breland (Lynn) and Violet Pearce (Gordan); grandchildren, Shelby McNair, Christopher Boyte, Kayla Everett, Hayleigh Cantrell, Valeigh Bain, and Kolten Boler; seven great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Zach McNair, Jeff Bain, Danny Clayburn, Steve Howell, Reed Anderson, and Clark Mims. Honorary pallbearers will be Kolten Boler.

In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Blair E. Batson Hospital online at umc.edu.
