The Scriptural passage for today is found in Psalm 107:28-30: “Then they cried out to the Lord in their trouble, and He brought them out of their distress. He stilled the storm to a whisper; the waves of the sea were hushed. They were glad when it grew calm, and He guided them to their desired haven.” Could the psalmist not have been speaking of one of us? How many of us have cried out to the Lord in times of trouble and received blessed relief? Are we any different from those the psalmist referenced all those centuries ago? God’s power knows no bounds. His grace has no limits. We can be the recipient of all that and more when we turn our lives over to Him to lead, guide, and direct us. Amen!

James Davis
