Crossgates Baptist Church to offer adoption and foster care class.

 

Crossgates Baptist Church in Brandon MS will begin offering adoption and foster care classes beginning on Wednesday, September 7th, 2022. The classes will be held on the first and third Wednesday’s of each month from 6:00-7:00pm in room 207.

 

These adoption and foster care classes are designed to help prepare, support, encourage, and connect adoptive and foster families no matter where they are in their processes by offering insight from professionals in the industry.

 

The class topics will touch on a holistic view of the entire adoption and foster journey from various view points such as how to fundraise for your adoption journey, understanding the home study process, becoming a licensed foster care parent, adoptees, a foster child who beat the odds, and much more.

 

There is no cost to attend these classes and the class is available to anyone and to any churches that have members in their community who would like to attend. Childcare will be provided for free each week and RSVP is not required to attend.
