Superintendent of Education Glenn Harris brought before the board a crisis situation that exists in the transpiration department of our schools.
Due to a lack of bus drivers, several buses are running double routes causing some students in Mendenhall not to arrive at their campus until 9:30 or 10:00 AM.
In the past, the board did not allow Principals or Assistant Principals to drive buses.
Mr. Harris asked that the board make a motion to allow Principals and Assistant Principals to drive buses. A motion was made and approved by the board.
