The Scriptural passage chosen for today is found in Psalm 51:10: “Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me.” The psalmist enjoyed a very close walk with God. They communed daily. In his many poems, prayers, and songs, he asked God for a steady renewal of heart and spirit by making both clean and pure. We should do likewise by offering this very prayer of the psalmist to God on a daily basis. If we but ask, He will be faithful in answering our prayer and hearing our supplication. Amen!
