The Scriptural passage for this morning is found in Psalm 51:10: “Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me.” Here we have the psalmist’s prayer as he asks God to wash and cleanse him daily so he will be better able to worship and serve Him, his Lord and Master. This, too, should be our prayer as we approach God each day. We should simply ask that He prepare us properly for service by wiping away all sin and filthiness from our lives and give us a right spirit and a pure heart. He will do it gladly.
Let’s not forget to share the love, joy, and kindness today as we go about interacting with our fellow man. It’s not difficult and becomes easier with practice. Let’s remember that God doesn’t like ugly. The devil does. Resist and be the victor. Amen!
