 Press Release from Simpson County Sheriff Department

On 11/17/2021, Wednesday night around 9pm, Simpson County deputies were dispatched to the cattle farm of Mr. Steven A. Lee on Shivers Rd.

Deputies arrived to discover that 2 cows were shot dead and later discovered that at least 6 to 7 more cows had suffered gunshot wounds.

The MS Agricultural & Livestock Theft Bureau, along with the sheriff’s Dept. are investigating this incident.  We are asking for the public’s help.  If anyone can help identify the person(s) responsible, or if you have any information-please call the Simpson County Sheriff’s Office @ 601-847-2921 or Central MS Crime
