County Forestry Association Meeting set for October 29, 2024

The Simpson County Forestry Association will have a general meeting on Tuesday, October 29, 2024, beginning at 6pm at the Simpson County Jr. Livestock Barn. The speakers will be Biewer Sawmills. They will speak about sawmill operations in Mississippi. A meal will be provided by Smokey Mountain Grille of Mendenhall.  We encourage anyone with an interest in forestry to attend the meeting and join our local association. Dues are $20.00. If you plan to attend, please make sure to RSVP to the Simpson County Extension office at 601-847-1335 by Friday, October 25.
