September is Suicide Prevention month…a lot of information is being “pushed” to the public during the month…are you reading this info?  We never know what the person sitting beside us in class, passing us on the street, living in our house is feeling…take time to read these articles shared during the month.

In an earlier article I spoke of Emily Crace and what she and a friend were doing at MSU this month for Suicide Awareness month.  Emily is a graduate of Simpson Academy and MageeNews.com!  She is the daughter of Nathan and Michelle Crace of Magee.  When Emily told me of her plans to seriously promote suicide awareness…I just smiled and told her how wonderful that was…I had no idea this young lady would present a promotion that would top any ever done at MSU.  She is aware that my middle son committed suicide…and last week sent me a picture of the field of remembrances  at MSU.  I nearly fainted when I opened her email and saw the picture.  Emily saluted my son!  When I sent the picture to my other sons they were shocked and deeply touched.

Today, September 13th, Larkin would have been 38 years old.  …but in my mind he will always be 22.  I received an awesome text from Zan Hudson this morning letting me know she had not forgotten this day…..and what she said in her text was just perfect “wonder what Larkin would have been president of today!”

Reach out to others….show your love…Be aware…

Welcome back, welcome back!

I imagine by now several of my faithful readers have realized I’ve been away from the computer for almost a week.  But…I’m back and crazier than ever….forgive me when my words run together…when sentences don’t make sense…the body is here but maybe not the brain.

Have a blessed week!!!
