Connie L. Yates, 60, passed away Sunday, December 13, 2015, in Hattiesburg.
She was born on April 9, 1955, to her parents, the late James Truitt Ware and Linnie Williamson.
She is survived by her loving husband, Robert Yates Sr.; two sons, Robert “Robby” Yates Jr. (Jennifer), Wes Yates (Veronica); two daughters, Shasta Gress (Duke), Kimberly Nichols (Kirby); one brother, James Ware (Shannon) and eight grandchildren.
Visitation for family and friends will be Tuesday, December 15, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Tutor Funeral Home in Magee.
Services will be held at 10:00 a. m., Wednesday, December 16, at the Tutor Funeral Home Chapel in Magee.
Final resting place will follow in Siloam Baptist ChurchCemetery in Magee, MS with Bro. Jay Wesbrooks and Raymond Jeffcoat officiating.
Pallbearers are James Yates, Mark Yates, Glen Yates, Jason Yates, Vondale Yates and D’Bo Yates.
Arrangements are entrusted with Tutor Funeral Home of Magee, MS.
