Washington, D.C. – Today, Congressman Michael Guest (R-Miss) released the following statement on Biden’s Executive Order on the border:

“In November of 2023, I asked Secretary Mayorkas to share how many illegal border crossings would constitute a bad day at the border, and he refused to answer. Today, President Biden signed an executive order that allows 2,500 illegal immigrants to cross the border each day. President Biden caused the current border crisis and for nearly four years refused to take action to address this crisis.  Biden’s executive order is not a serious attempt to solve the crisis but is instead an election year stunt designed to mislead the public.”
