Skills USA Competition was held in Jackson on March 3-4.
Winning first place in Automotive Technology and qualifying to compete at the National Skills USA Competition being held in June, in Louisville, Kentucky, is Jean Cook, Career Pathways student at the Simpson County Technical Center.
Additionally, Jean was awarded a $10,000 scholarship to Universal Technical Institute and a full scholarship to Northwest Mississippi Community College.
