Simpson boy’s basketball just completed the 22-23 season. On Monday, February 27, 2023, the Cougars played a strong Jackson Prep team in the semifinals. The Cougars put up a good fight but unfortunately could not pull through. Jackson Prep will play Clinton Christian on Wednesday, March 1, 2023, for the Overall Championship.
Simpson completed the season by becoming the 5A North State Champions, 5A State Champions, and made the final four in the MAIS Overall Tournament.
