WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Senator Thad Cochran (R-Miss.) today received the Spirit of Enterprise Award from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. The honor is based on his support of critical pro-business policies in the second session of the 114th Congress. Cochran received a 100 percent rating for 2016. The honor was presented by Moore Hallmark, the executive director of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce – Southeast Region.

Please explain why Sen. Cochran voted in favor of TPP (Free Trade Agreement) and how it would benefit our community. Please describe what TPP is; and who sponsored it and why it should be deemed “Spirit of Enterprise” and why any Holy Spirit should rain down from heaven upon it or the wholesome, bitter and pinched faces of hypocrites comprising both The Democratic and Republican Parties of Mississippi.
