On November 4, 2022, the Mississippi Coalition for Citizens with Disabilities will honor a slate of individuals and organizations who have carried the torch to improve the lives of people with disabilities.  The annual Torchbearers Celebration will be at Embassy Suites Ridgeland, 200 Township Place, Ridgeland, from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m.

For a $40 ticket, guests will be treated to music by one of Jackson’s musical treasures, guitarist Barry Leach, and to great food and drink, and a silent auction with a chance to nab some unique Holiday gifts.

“We look forward to recognizing our 2022 Torchbearers and all the people who are so passionate about improving the lives of people with disabilities.” said Pam Dollar, executive director of the Coalition.

“Our Torchbearers event is a casual and welcoming celebration that the community looks forward to each year.  The money we raise makes it possible for us to continue our work to make life better for all Mississippians with disabilities.  It’s a great party that makes a real difference to real people,” Dollar said.
