Magee High School Alumnus, former Teacher, Assistant Coach, Head Coach, Assistant Principal, and Principal has decided to exit the public sector of education announcing retirement after 35 years of service.
Coach Terrell Luckey announced his decision to retire. A reception was held Monday, May 23, 2022 at the Achievement Center. A large crowd was in attendance. Luckey has served in many capacities over the years and will be missed.
Many of the previous teachers from the middle school was present for the celebration. (Some had left at time of photograph)
Coach Luckey is not ready to retire completely at this time. He will open the next chapter of his career as the Head Coach at Prentiss Christian Academy.
We wish him and his family the best of luck in the future.
Superintendent of Education Dr. Toriano Holloway presented Luckey with a Resolution of Retirement.
