WESSON, MS – Copiah-Lincoln Community College Workforce Education Division announces the successful completion of the Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) non-credit training program. Eight students have completed the program and are prepared to enter the healthcare workforce.

Graduates include Dena Clayton of Natchez; Emily Galindo of Wesson; Josie Hall of Monticello; Tanyia Lee of McComb; Anya Lenoir, Akira Lyons, and Sadie O’Quinn of Brookhaven; and Heather Wall of Monticello.

The six-month CCMA program provides training in medical terminology, pharmacology, anatomy and physiology, infection control, patient care coordination, and medical law and ethics. Students gain hands-on experience through clinical rotations and laboratory practice.
