WESSON, Miss. – The Copiah-Lincoln Community College women’s basketball coaching staff has scheduled open tryouts for the 2018-2019 team on Thursday, April 26. The tryouts will be held in Mullen Gymnasium on Co-Lin’s Wesson campus from 1:30-3:30 p.m. Tryouts are open to all high school seniors, transfers, or anyone with NJCAA eligibility remaining. Participants must bring a copy of their current physical and appropriate workout attire. Attendees are asked to arrive 15 minutes early for registration.

The Lady Wolves finished the 2017-2018 season 24-5 and were both MACJC State runner-up and NJCAA Region XXIII runner-up. Co-Lin’s women’s basketball program has a strong history of success including 18 MACJC State Championships, Seven NJCAA Region XXIII Championships, and seven NJCAA National Tournament appearances, including a Final Four appearance in 1989. Head coach Gwyn Young has amassed 931 wins in tenure as head coach at Co-Lin.
