JACKSON, Miss. – The Mississippi Association of Community College Conference (MACCC) announced the 2020-21 Co-Lin men’s tennis team

earned MACCC All-Academic Teams of the Year honors. The Wolves tied with Meridian Community College with a 3.55 team GPA to take top honors in men’s tennis.

“It was a great job in the classroom and on the court for this group,” said Co-Lin athletic director Bryan Nobile. “To compete in the national tournament and have the state’s highest team GPA tells you what a special group Coach Hale put together this season.”

“I challenge my players to strive to always do their best, and no matter what, academics come first,” added Hale. “Whether it’s a hard match or challenging course work, each one puts their heart and soul into everything they do.”

The Wolves, who qualified for a spot in the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Division I Men’s Tennis Championship held in Plano, Texas, has a strong showing at the tournament finishing 17 out of 27 teams.
