Co-Lin Wesson Campus Commercial Truck Driving class completes; upcoming dates set

WESSON- Copiah-Lincoln Community College Workforce Education Department facilitated Commercial Truck Driving (CDL) training in October at the Wesson Campus and was under the instruction of Dwight Brown. In five weeks, students completed theory and road-time requirements in preparation for their road test which is included in the cost of the class.

Vice President of the Wesson Campus Mrs. Jackie Martin explains, “We are thrilled to add these Workforce Education Commercial Truck Driving classes to our catalog of classes. This move is in answer to industry requests, and we are looking forward to providing well prepared employees.”

Enroll now for the upcoming CDL session which starts January 9, 2023, with a registration deadline of December 14, 2022. Training sessions are available at both the Simpson County Center in Mendenhall, MS, and the Wesson Campus in Wesson, MS. Additional information about registration is available at our website www.colin.edu/workforcecdl  or may be asked by calling 601.643.8707. Enrollees must have obtained their CDL permit prior to the class start.
