WESSON – The works of Brookhaven artist and retired Copiah-Lincoln Community College art instructor Tom Ross will be on exhibit February 6-28, 2017, in the Gertrude Mutton Building on Copiah-Lincoln Community College’s Wesson Campus. Ross will present a gallery talk on Wednesday, Feb. 15, at 11 a.m. in the Mutton Gallery.
Ross graduated from Mississippi College in 1972, majoring in art. He then attended the University of Georgia, receiving his M.F.A. in 1974, majoring in painting and drawing. He returned to M.C. as a visiting professor of art in the summer of 1975. In the fall of 1975 he accepted the position of art instructor at Copiah-Lincoln Community College where he remained until his retirement in 2013.
Exhibit hours are from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday through Friday. For more information contact Janet Smith at (601) 643-8482.
