WESSON – Copiah-Lincoln Community College will hold three pre-registration sessions for all freshman and new students attending Fall 2019 classes. Pre-registration will be held on June 7, July 12, and August 15 on each of Co-Lin’s three campuses. Pre-registration begins at 9 a.m. on all three campuses. Students should arrive at the Dow-Young Instructional Technology Building on the Wesson Campus, the Redd Watkins Career-Technical Building on the Natchez Campus, and at the Parker Academic Building at the Simpson County Center. These one-day sessions are planned to help all entering students get an early start on the Fall 2019 semester.

The focus of pre-registration is to assist the student in becoming further acquainted with Co-Lin, obtaining academic and career-technical curriculum-planning advice, receiving a schedule for the Fall semester, college identification card and parking permit. Students can also gain assistance with financial aid and housing needs.

All academic and career-technical students are required to take the ACT. Those attending orientation without ACT scores will have to take a placement test ($40 cost) and show photo identification before pre-registering. It is to the student’s advantage to have ACT scores on file in Co-Lin’s Enrollment Services/Admissions Office before attending an orientation session.

Although the student is reserving a schedule for the Fall, tuition and fees are not required to be paid at orientation, unless the student wishes to do so at that time.

Further information on orientation may be obtained by calling 601.643-8490 (Wesson), 601.442.9111 (Natchez), and 601.849.0122 (Simpson), or visiting www.colin.edu.
