Co-Lin students earn top awards at state PBL competition

WESSON – Copiah-Lincoln Community College’s Nu Kappa Chapter of Phi Beta Lambda (PBL) recently competed at the PBL State Leadership Conference hosted by The Mississippi University for Women in Columbus, Miss. Co-Lin students excelled and earned the following honors:

  • Brooke Brister- 1st place, Business Decision Making; 2nd place, Organizational Behavior & Leadership
  • Hugh Greer- 2nd place, Impromptu Speaking
  • Emma Grice- 1st place, Entrepreneurship Concepts; 2nd place, Small Business Management Plan
  • Joshua Griffin- 1st place, Business Decision Making;
  • William Hodgson- 1st place, Economic Analysis and Decision Making; 1st place, Microeconomics
  • Whitney Howell- 1st place, Integrated Marketing Campaign; 2nd place, Small Business Management Plan
  • Lindsey Norton- 1st place, Statistics
  • Maeghan Lee- 2nd place, Business Presentation; 2nd place, Statistics; 2nd place, Local Chapter Annual Business Report;
  • Sabra Hubbard- 1st place, Client Services; 2nd place, Human Resource Management
  • John Michael Chance-1st place, Business Decision Making; 1st place, Project Management
  • Mickie Palfreman- 1st place, Global Analysis and Decision Making; 1st place, Sports Management and Marketing
