Co-Lin Precision Machining Technology program receives HAAS grant

WESSON- For the fourth time, Copiah-Lincoln Community College’s Precision Machining Technology program has received a Gene Haas Foundation grant. The $8,000 grant will help support Co-Lin precision machining students with scholarships. Grant funds are meant to promote careers in manufacturing and machining and help train students to become skilled machinists.

“The scholarship funds we receive from the Gene Haas Foundation mean so much to our students and our program,” said Program Coordinator Bo Johnson. “It helps relieve some of the financial burdens on our students so that they can focus on honing their craft and preparing for the workforce. We are grateful for our continued partnership with Haas.”
