What is workforce training?

Workforce Training/Education is defined as those postsecondary activities (seminar, workshop, course, customized training, etc.) that develop or enhance the skills of existing employees or members of any business or industry. … These are typically non-credit activities or training.

Workforce training is available through Co-Lin for employers as well as participants.  Beginning in January, an EMT course will be taught at Co-Lin.  Registration is in process now until December 18, 2019.  A law enforcement course will begin registration in January.

Workforce training benefits everyone involved.  Companies can be compensated for classes offered for employees.  Participants can find employment much easier.

Tuesday, January 28, 6 – 10pm
Location: Simpson County Center

Classes begin January 28, 2020, and will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., two nights weekly for eighteen weeks at Co-Lin Simpson Center.

Registration is due by December 18, 2019.
