Co-Lin named a “2019 Great College to Work For”

WILMINGTON, DE – Copiah-Lincoln Community College is one of the best colleges in the nation to work for, according to a new survey by The Great College to Work For program. This is the third time Co-Lin has been named a ‘Great College to Work For’ and the second year in a row the college has received the designation.

The results, released today in a special insert of the Chronicle, are based on a survey of 236 colleges and universities. In all, 85 of the 236 institutions achieved “Great College to Work For” recognition for specific best practices and policies. Results are reported for small, medium, and large institutions, with Co-Lin included among the medium sized institutions with 3,000 to 9,999 students.

“Everyone at Co-Lin helps to make this a great place to work,” said Co-Lin President Dr. Jane Hulon. “We have the best faculty and staff that go above and beyond to serve our students and community. We are proud to have earned this special recognition.”

The survey results are based on a two-part assessment process: an institutional questionnaire that captured employment data and workplace policies from each institution and a survey administered to faculty, administrators, and professional support staff. The primary factor in deciding whether an institution received recognition was the employee feedback.

The Great Colleges to Work For is one of the largest and most respected workplace-recognition programs in the country. For more information and to view all the results of the survey, visit www.greatcollegesprogram.com.
