Co-Lin Job Fair to be held March 23

WESSON – The Copiah-Lincoln Community College 2023 Job Fair will be held on Thursday, March 23, at the Billy B. Thames Conference Center in Wesson, MS. The community is welcome to this free event which starts at 10:00 a.m. and ends at 1:00 p.m.  Human resource recruiters representing local and regional employers will be available to speak with job seekers.

“We want the community to take full advantage of this event, as we’ve worked hard to recruit employers from all over the region to attend, network with job seekers and accept resumes and applications,” said Co-Lin Workforce Center Director Luke Laird. “There’s no other event in Southwest Mississippi that will have this number of employers under one roof. All job seekers should make this event a priority.”

Co-Lin is grateful for the sponsors who made this event possible. At the time of publication, those sponsors include Canfor Southern Pine, Coles Creek Cannabis, Copiah County Medical Center, DG Foods, Fresenius Kidney Care, Howard Industries, Key Constructors LLC, King’s Daughters Medical Center, Magnolia Electric Power, Merit Health Natchez & River Region, Paul Barnett Nissan, PriorityOne Bank, Rex Lumber, Silver Cross Health and Rehab, Southwest MS Regional Medical Center, State Farm Insurance, Toyota of Brookhaven, and Trustmark National Bank.

The Job Fair is a continued effort by Copiah-Lincoln Community College to promote the business-friendly climate by investing in training and employment opportunities for the labor force in the college district and surrounding areas.
