Wednesday, October 24, 2018, Simpson County Juniors and Seniors were welcomed to a tailgate party for Homecoming at Copiah Lincoln Community College Simpson Campus!
Dr. Jane Hulon, President, and Dr. Dewayne Middleton, Vice President Simpson Campus, were on hand to greet and welcome students. Weather was beautiful for a day of fun!
Games, music, vendors, food, competition and presentation of homecoming court were all celebrated.
Copiah Lincoln Community College Simpson Campus Homecoming Court, Mr. & Mrs. Co-Lin, and Class Representatives were honored. Maids are Swayze Orders, Kadaisha Barnes, Zoey Welch, and Madison May. The ladies are pictured with Dr. Hulon.

The afternoon ended with a friendly relay competition between Magee, Mendenhall, and Simpson County Academy! Magee lappeared to have the event won by a long shot when Simpson Academy sneaked by at the very end to win the competition.
Juniors and Seniors from all schools as well as Copiah Lincoln Community College Students had a fun day!
Copiah Lincoln has three campus. Main Campus is located in Wesson, one is Simpson County, and one in Natchez.

This years Alumna of the Year, that will be recognized on Saturday during homecoming festivities, is Simpson County’s own Barbara Fuller. Ms. Fuller was present for the tailgate party and was honored during the day! Angela Furr with Co-Lin Alumni division was present to introduce Ms. Fuller. Pictured with Fuller is Dr. Hulon and Dr. Middleton.
Co-Lin offers many scholarship opportunities! Now is the time for students to start applying! There are endowment, leadership, and academic scholarships that are available. Co-Lin offers Simpson County Leaders a scholarship, 3 Simpson County MS Scholars scholarship in addition to the many others available scholarships. This year ACT scores are very important. Scholarships were revised to add not only tuition but the higher scores are now eligible for cash each semester for books, room and board, and meal plans.
