CO-LIN FOUNDATION DONATION – The Copiah-Lincoln Community College Foundation donated wireless temperature sensors and wireless PH sensors to district high school science programs that attended the college’s 31st annual Science Quest Competition. Receiving the sensors were front row from left, Julie Berry Caballero of Crystal Springs High School, LaDonna Anderson of Wesson Attendance Center, Leslie Hood of Brookhaven Academy, Vickie King of West Lincoln Attendance Center, Dana Rushing of Loyd Star; back row from left, Bobby Young of Mendenhall High School, Reggie Wise of Bogue Chitto Attendance Center, John Floyd of Crystal Springs High School, and Angela Furr, Co-Lin’s Associate Director of Alumni Affairs. Approximately 100 students from 13 area high schools participated in the competition. Students are tested in the areas of biology, chemistry and physics competing for scholarships and prizes. The Co-Lin Foundation provides approximately $150,000 in scholarships to over 150 Co-Lin students.
