It was all Co-Lin Thursday night as the Wolves ran away with a 111-66 win over the Royal Ambassadors Christian School Lions. With the win, the Wolves improve to 2-1 on the year while the Lions drop to 0-3. The Wolves are back in action next Tuesday, November 13 as Co-Lin hosts the William Carey Crusaders JV team. Tipoff is set for 7 p.m.

Co-Lin seemed to do no wrong in the opening 10 minutes of play as the Wolves dominated both ends of the court. Co-Lin held the Lions to just four points through those 10 minutes while pouring in 33 points on the offense end. That 29-point lead dwindled to 22 points, 51-29, late in the first half, but the Wolves headed to the locker room up 59-33. Co-Lin shot a blistering 62 percent (24-of-39) from the floor in the first half.

The second half was much of the same for the Wolves. Co-Lin continued to knock down jumpers, and dish several alley-oops. The Wolves lead stretched to 31, 71-37 early in the second half, and was up into the forties late in the contest.

The Wolves finished the night shooting 57 percent (47-of-82) while the Lions shot 46 percent (27-of-59) Co-Lin outrebounded the Lions 30-28, but got several more possessions by forcing 33 turnovers while only committing 16.

Miles Daniels led the Wolves with 23 points after shooting 9-of-15 from the floor and 5-of-10 from three-point range. The performance was Daniels’ second 20-point game of the year. Damarius Brooks added 16 points and grabbed a team-high seven rebounds. Cameron Woodall added 16 points as well and hauled in six boards. Xavier Heidelberg and Dayquan Perkins both scored 13 while Perkins posted five rebounds. Lazorian McNulty rounded out the Wolves’ top scorers with 12 points. Heidelberg led the team with five assists, while Daniels, Lance Madison, and Dajon Whitworth led the way with three steals each.

Monterious Whitlock led the Lions with 25 points, while Chris Jackson led the Royal Ambassadors with seven rebounds.
