Co-Lin CDL class graduates; upcoming dates set

WESSON- In April, Copiah-Lincoln Community College Workforce Education Department facilitated Commercial Truck Driving (CDL) training at the Simpson County Center. Students completed four weeks of driving theory and road-time requirements in preparation for their road test which is included in the cost of the class.

Applications are being accepted for the upcoming CDL session which is scheduled for June 5, 2023. Training alternates between the Simpson County Center in Mendenhall and at the Wesson Campus in Wesson. The next Wesson Campus session is slated to begin July 10, 2023, with a registration deadline of June 30, 2023. Additional information about registration is available at Co-Lin’s website www.colin.edu/truckdrivingschool  or may be asked by calling Co-Lin Workforce Education at 601.643.8707. Enrollees must have obtained their CDL permit prior to the class start.
