Simpson County Co-Lin recently held awards day on their campus. The following endowment scholarships were awarded.

 “CHICK” SMITH SCHOLARSHIP- Dawson Little (center) is the recipient of the Donald Ashley “Chick” Smith Scholarship provided through the Copiah-Lincoln Community College Foundation. On hand for the presentation were donor representative Candi Smith (left) and Interim Foundation Executive Director Angela Furr.

            WOMACK LEGACY SCHOLARSHIP- Kadaisha Barnes of Magee (center) is the recipient of the Donald Womack Legacy Scholarship provided through the Copiah-Lincoln Community College Foundation. On hand for the presentation were donor representative Michelle Womack (left) and Interim Foundation Executive Director Angela Furr.

            FRAZIER SCHOLARSHIP- Dawson Little (left) is the recipient of the B.R. and Francis Frazier Scholarship provided through the Copiah-Lincoln Community College Foundation. On hand for the presentation was Interim Foundation Executive Director Angela Furr.

            AINSWORTH MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP- Preston Ivy of Magee (center) is the recipient of the Willie and Rice Ainsworth Memorial Scholarship provided through the Copiah-Lincoln Community College Foundation. On hand for the presentation were donor representative Randy Ainsworth (left) and Interim Foundation Executive Director Angela Furr.

            GARNER SCHOLARSHIP- Deontavis Duckworth of Mt. Olive (left) is the recipient of the Howell and Candi Garner Leadership Scholarship provided through the Copiah-Lincoln Community College Foundation. On hand for the presentation was Interim Foundation Executive Director Angela Furr.

            BREWER SCHOLARSHIP- Shaquajah Dampeer (center) is the recipient of the Mazary Brewer Scholarship provided through the Copiah-Lincoln Community College Foundation. On hand for the presentation were donor representative Jon Dilmore (left) and Interim Foundation Executive Director Angela Furr.

            SIMPSON GENERAL SCHOLARSHIP- Janet Reeder of Florence (center) is the recipient of the Simpson General Foundation Scholarship provided through the Copiah-Lincoln Community College Foundation. On hand for the presentation were Simpson County Center Vice President Dr. Dewayne Middleton (left) and Interim Foundation Executive Director Angela Furr.

            WILSON-MASSEY SCHOLARSHIP- Natalie Vanderford of Mendenhall (second from right) is the recipient of the Wilson-Massey Scholarship provided through the Copiah-Lincoln Community College Foundation. On hand for the presentation were from left, David and Debbie Massey, Vanderford and Interim Foundation Executive Director Angela Furr.

            TRUSTMARK SCHOLARSHIP- Chloe White of Magee (center) is the recipient of the Trustmark-Magee Scholarship provided through the Copiah-Lincoln Community College Foundation. On hand for the presentation were Trustmark Magee Bank President Brandon Hubbard (left) and Interim Foundation Executive Director Angela Furr.

            NURSE CONNIE SCHOLARSHIP- Madison Maddox of Magee (second from right) is the recipient of the Nurse Connie Magee Annual Scholarship provided through the Copiah-Lincoln Community College Foundation. On hand for the presentation were from left, David Magee, Nicole Magee Cheramie, Maddox, and Interim Foundation Executive Director Angela Furr.

 

CORINTH BAPTIST SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENT– Tate Clayburn (left) is the recipient of the Corinth Baptist Church Scholarship provided through the Copiah-Lincoln Community College Foundation. On hand for the presentation was Interim Foundation Executive Director Angela Furr.
