Co-Lin announces first ever winter term

            WESSON – Copiah-Lincoln Community College has announced it will offer a Winter Term for the first time. The Winter Term will include two learning options for students: a four-week online option and a two-week virtual synchronous option.

            Four-week online courses begin November 16 and end December 11. Classes being offered include: College Algebra, English Comp I, English Comp II, General Chemistry I and Lab, General Psychology I, Human A&P I and Lab, Human Growth & Development, Intermediate Algebra, Intermediate English and Reading, Introduction to Sociology, Marriage and Family, Microbiology and Lab, Music Appreciation, Orientation, Principles of Bio II and Lab, Psychology of Personal Adjustment, Public Speaking I, Traditional Grammar, World Civilization II, World Literature I, World Literature II, and World Regional Geography. The last day to register for four-week online courses is Friday, November 13 at 3 p.m.

            Two-week virtual synchronous courses begin November 30 and end December 11. These courses will have a set time each day that students will participate in coursework via Zoom. Classes being offered on the Wesson Campus include: College Algebra, English Comp II, General Physics, General Psychology, Introduction to Sociology, and Music Appreciation. Classes being offered on the Natchez Campus include: Computer Applications, English Comp I, General Biology I, and World Civilization I. Classes being offered at the Simpson County Center include: Geography, Human Growth and Development, Statistics, and World Literature II.

The last day to register for two-week virtual synchronous courses is Friday, November 20 at 3 p.m.
