The Copiah-Lincoln Community College Alumni Association recently honored five outstanding faculty and staff members during the annual fall convocation on the Wesson Campus. The group will also be recognized during the alumni luncheon at Homecoming on Oct. 28.
Those honored from the Wesson campus were Keith Stovall of Brookhaven, Tiffany Perryman of Fayette, and Brenda Parrett of Hazlehurst. Ray Bradford of Natchez was the Natchez Campus honoree, and Kathy Graves of Magee was recognized for the Simpson County Center.
Stovall
Stovall was honored as Outstanding Academic Instructor for the Wesson campus. He has been employed at Co-Lin since 2008, and received a bachelor’s degree from William Carey University, a master’s degree from the University of Southern Mississippi, and has completed additional study at Jackson State University. He is an instructor in the social science division, teaching psychology and sociology courses, is a licensed professional counselor, and serves as an advisor to the Centurions History Club. In addition to his job at Co-Lin, he also serves as a worship pastor at Nola Baptist Church. He is married to Teresa Stovall, and they have three children, Ramie, Isaac, and Camp.
Perryman
Perryman was selected as Outstanding Career/Technical Instructor for the Wesson campus. She has been employed at Co-Lin since 2012, and holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of Southern Mississippi, and is currently working toward a degree in administration from Delta State University.
She is an instructor in the Business and Office Technology department and also serves as a co-advisor for Phi Theta Kappa and interim director of institutional effectiveness. She is a member of the Mississippi Business Educator Association and New Hope Vision Center in Natchez, where she assists with youth ministry. She is married to Alford Perryman and they have two children, Caleb and Kaylee.
Parrett
Parrett was honored as Outstanding Staff member of the Year for the Wesson campus. She has been employed at Co-Lin since 1995 and is a graduate of Drones Business College. She serves as the administrative assistant to the college president and is responsible for managing his schedule, as well as numerous other duties such as planning and organizing events and meetings. Prior to Co-Lin, she worked as a teller at Copiah Bank in Hazlehurst. She was a recipient of the Howell Garner High Performance Award in 1999. She is married to Dewitt Parrett and they have two children, Tommy and Marcie, and five grandchildren.
Bradford
Bradford was selected as Outstanding Faculty/Staff Member for the Natchez campus. He has been employed at Co-Lin since 2005, and holds an associate’s degree in nursing, a bachelor’s degree in life sciences, and a master’s degree in health and human performance. He is a health and physical education instructor at the Natchez campus and is chairman of the wellness committee.
He is a veteran of the United States Army and is a certified CPR Instructor. He is a member of the Krewes of Phoenix and Alpheus, the Natchez Santa Claus Committee, the Masonic Lodge, the Natchez Elks, and Knights Templar Shriners. He is married to Andrea Bradford, and they have six children, James, Parker, Chase, Rebecca, Cody and Tori, and five grandchildren.
Graves
Graves was honored as Outstanding faculty/staff member for the Simpson County Center. She has been employed at Co-Lin since 2011, and holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Alabama and a master’s degree from the University of Southern Mississippi. She is a social science instructor on the Simpson Campus, and is also a National Certified Counselor. She is a member of First Baptist Church in Magee. She is married to Toby Graves, and they have three children, Garrett, Greyson, and Gretta.
