WESSON – Copiah-Lincoln Community College Adult Education offers individuals who did not complete high school the opportunity to earn their high school equivalency (HSE) degree. To earn a HSE degree, individuals must pass one of the three approved HSE exams: the GED, HiSET, or TASC. Co-Lin offers prep classes for all three exams free of charge to individuals at least 18 years of age.
Individuals could also be eligible to take the HSE exam for free through a scholarship offered by the Adult Education department. To be eligible for the scholarship, students must complete registration and attend prep classes.
Classes are currently offered on the Wesson and Natchez Campuses. Pre-registration for prep classes is required and is held multiple times in the spring and fall at all locations. Pre-registration is also held every Monday at 1:30 p.m. in the Mutton Building on the Wesson Campus, and every Monday at 3 p.m. in the Adult Education Classroom in the Tom Reed Academic Center on the Natchez Campus. For more information about registering for prep classes, contact the Adult Education Department at 601.643.8655.
