The Scriptural passage selected for today is found in Colossians 3:12: “As God chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience.” God’s people are a separate people, set apart, and are to possess the various character traits of our Lord and Savior. This requires of us a need for personal assessments from time to time. How do we measure up? Which are our strengths, our weaknesses? As for me, I need to be stronger in the area of patience. Yes, it’s patience in which I’m weakest. How do you rate yourself? Let us strive to do better.
