Climmis Byars died Friday. She was my friend. We shared a struggle …the death of a child. Climmis showed me how to go forward when your son dies. She showed me how to continue to smile. She showed me how to forgive and move forward. Climmis knew the valleys…but she walked the mountains with her children and grandchildren. She made a difference in many lives in the classroom. What a joyous day in Heaven.
Visitation and services are Sunday at First Baptist Church in Magee. 12:30-2:00 then service @ 2.
