According to Magee Chief of Police Denis Borges, the Magee Police Department has been awarded a grant which targets enforcing seat belt and child safety seat laws.

 

According to the Mississippi Department of Transportation, two out of three people are killed which not wearing their seat belts.

If you do not want to be ticketed, wear your seat belt and put children in child safety seats.

 

“Tickets that are issued under this grant will not be dismissed,” stated Magee Police Chief Denis Borges.
