Clean Up Downtown was Successful

Keep Magee Beautiful Committee and the Magee Chamber of Commerce teamed  together Thursday, May 4, 2023 to improve the appearance of downtown.

Thank you to the following volunteers for your efforts to clean the city.

Hattie Grace Ashmore, Leman Cockrell, Amarilys Carter, Mark Grubbs, Paula Colson, Riley Runnels, Amanda Blakeney, Anne Marie Blakeney, Lee Maddox, John Rley, Tiffaney Kinslow, Melisa Herrington, Tyler Cheramie, and Patrice Boykin.

The volunteers split  into groups to conquer the downtown area. The teams picked up trash, trimmed overgrown areas, blew Ural Everett Park and the sidewalks, and sprayed weeds.

Downtown clean up is a continuing process.  Anyone interested in joining Keep Magee Beautiful or the Magee Chamber of Commerce can contact Lee Maddox at PriorityOne Bank.
