Claudia Mae Rogers, 87, of Taylorsville passed from this life Tuesday, April 5, 2016 at her home. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, April 7, 2016 at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee. Bro. Stevie Hand and Bro. Carey Bass will officiate.  Burial will be in Double Church Cemetery.

Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee is in charge of arrangements, (601)849-5031.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 6, 2016 from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Magee.

Mrs. Claudia loved to spend time with her friends and family. Some of her hobbies included sewing and cross-stitching. She loved reading her Bible, which was a priority in her life. She was also a Sunday school teacher children and youth leader in her church.

Mrs. Claudia is survived by her daughter – Betty McDaniel (Kenneth) of Taylorsville; sister – Bobbie Lowery of Florence; grandchildren – Lynn McDaniel (Sonja) of Taylorsville and Mike McDaniel (Maria) of Taylorsville;  great grandchildren – Micah McDaniel, Manny McDaniel, and McKenna  McDaniel of Taylorsville; sister-in-law- Annie Rose Luckey; special friends Annie Jewel Barnes and Jerry Hankins; a host of nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Claudia is preceded in death by her husband – Marshall Rogers;  parents – Claude and  Ellie Lowery; brothers – Clifton Luckey, and Jack Luckey;  sisters – Ellie High Luckey, Bonnie Luckey Davis, and Winnie Luckey Wilborn.

Pallbearers will be Kenneth McDaniel, Lynn McDaniel, Mike McDaniel, Micah McDaniel, Manny McDaniel, and  Randy Lowery.

Honorary Pallbearer will be McKenna McDaniel
