Claudia (Ann) Marchant passed from her earthly home on Sunday, May 28th at 12:50 a.m. where she was met in the loving arms of her Heavenly Father.
Ann will be missed by all family and friends and many students from the Simpson County School System affectionately known as Miss Ann, the Lunch Lady.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 30, 2023 from 6:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home, 302 8th Ave SW, Magee, Mississippi. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 31, 2023 at 2:00 P.M. at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee, Mississippi. Burial will follow in Polk Cemetery in Magee, Mississippi. Bro. Charles Savell will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee is in charge of arrangements. 601-849-5031
Ann was born in Clem, MS on August 8, 1949 and preceded in death by her parents, James and Juanita Savell; and daughter, Candy Ann Blount.
Survived by her husband of 34 Years, Steve Marchant, daughters Tammy Welch (Phillip) of Hurlock MD; Tanealia Thompson (Timmy) of Magee, MS; Sissy Boykin (Justin) of Pinola, MS; and Keith Marchant (Tracy) of Terry, MS; brothers, Billy Savell (Pam) of Star MS, Charles Savell (Pam) of Pinola, MS and Jimmy Savell (Robbie) of LaPorte, TX; grandchildren, Ben Welch, Jessica Welch, Kayla Lee, Kimberly Blount, John Michael Blount, Timmy Ray Blount, Timmy Joe Thompson, Brayden Boykin, Addie Boykin, Remi Mahaffey, Emily Williams, and April Neely; and great grandchildren, Jackson Lee, Brantley Thompson, Sawyer Lee, Liam Welch, Eli Welch, Alana Williams, Parker Warren, and Hunter Martin; and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
