Clara Mae Braxton, 73, of Bolton, MS, went to be with the Lord on Friday, June 10, 2016 at her home in Bolton, MS
She was born in Smith County, MS, to the late J.C. Cox & Etha Mae Cox. She graduated from White Oak High School. Her job took her away but her heart was always in Smith County.
She retired from Delphi (Packard Electric) with 32 years of service. She loved to work in the yard & fish with her husband of over 20 years. She was loved by all that knew her. She will be missed dearly.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, June 13, 2016 at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Mendenhall Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, June 13, 2016 at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Mendenhall in Mendenhall. Bro. Ken Brown Jr. will officiate. Burial will be in White Oak Baptist Church cemetery. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Mendenhall is in charge of arrangements, (601)847-4401.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 12, 2016 from 3:00 P.M. – 6:00 P.M. at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Mendenhall.
Surviving her husband James M Braxton, of Bolton, MS, son Kevin Patterson (Dorothy), of Terry, MS, grandchild Brandi Horton, of Byram, MS, great grandchildren Adian Bailey and Hannah Bailey, nieces Beverly Henley and Debra Phipps,
Predeceased by her daughter Vickie Horton, brothers Johnny Cox and James Cox, and sister Bobbie Jean Roach.
