Magee’s Farmer’s Market is scheduled to open Saturday, June 10th. The hours of operation are 9-1. The market will be held next to the Magee Community House.

At this time, three vendors will “kick off” the first Farmer’s Market. Buddy, Keys, Jimmy Lott, and Jaylyn Miller McDonald. Jimmy Lott will be selling honey. Brother Buddy and Mrs. McDonald will have assorted fresh vegetables for sale.

We may be starting small in number, but as one person told me…”at least we are starting.”

Let’s don’t be quick to criticize. I feel the Farmer’s Market can become a great place in Magee. We just need all our local “farmers” to participate.

To have a booth at the market, an application must be completed and a fee of $10 paid on the Tuesday before a market. Applications are available at City Hall, Tractor Supply, and Walmart.

Hope to see you Saturday at the Market!
