The City of Magee has hired Hugh Dillmore as the next City Superintendent.
The board came to a decision after reviewing numerous applicants and interviewing candidates.
Dillmore is married to his high school sweetheart, Shelia Dillmore, who owns Style 2000 in Magee. Dillmore worked in high school bagging groceries and then entered the oilfield. Dillmore began as a roughneck and worked his way to the top. At the time of his retirement he was responsible for every crane that H & P owned in the Gulf of Mexico. Dillmore was aresponsible for overseeing approximately 210 employees.
Dillmore retired from H & P after 35 years of service.
