The City of Magee dog pound is acquiring a facelift!  The Mayor and Board of Aldermen ear marked $5,000 for the upkeep and  renovation of the pound.

Dog Catcher Michael Andrews has worked hard with little available money to do the best he can with the facilities.  Hopefully, Tuesday, November 23, 2021, the fencing will be replaced.  Michael intends to paint all fencing black.

Presently there are 4 dogs at the pound.  Two will be leaving tomorrow for their adoption home.  The other two dogs are scheduled for adoption this week.

If you are having “dog” problems, contact the Magee Police Department (601-849-2366).

(Food donations are always needed.  The dog pound is located at the City Works Department which is near Overflow Church and the water tower)
