The City of Magee Board of Aldermen and Mayor discussed the cost of water and sewage for apartment complex housing in Magee at the November 4, 2019 meeting.
The average cost for residential bills in the city is $37.50 (including garbage and sewage).
The proposed cost for apartment billing per unit will be $15 for garbage and $13 for sewage or a total of $28 per unit.
Presently, the following apartment complex are paying:
Magee Apartments which has 24 units pays a total of $175.71 per month.
Magee Manor which has 20 units and pays a total of $580.54 per month.
Azalea Apartment which has 24 units and pays a total of $172.43 per month.
Hillside Apartments has 24 units and pays $403.65 per month.
Eastgate Manor has 24 units and pays $163.18 per month.
Apartments located at 614 2nd Street has 8 units and pays $112.05 per month.
Park Place has 24 units and pays $252.98 per month.
SASE Apartments has 40 units and pays $1050.00 per month
Raleigh Annex has 72 units and pays $812.86.
Landmark has 16 units and pays $104.91
The matter is still under advisement.
