According to Animal Control Officer Benny Blair, citations will be issued if any animals in the City of Magee are unprotected or tethered during the extreme cold weather.
Fines will be administered by the City Judge.
Blair explained, “the first time I finds an animal not protected the citation will be given…no second chances…first time gets a citation. Our City Judge Reggie Blackledge will set the fine.
The citation means a court appearance and fine.
