Christopher (Chris) Michael McCurdy, 50, of Magee, Mississippi, passed away Thursday, July 15, 2021 at his home in Magee, Mississippi. He was born Sunday, September 13, 1970.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 18, 2021 from 12:00 PM until 3:00 PM at the Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee.
Funeral Services will be held Sunday, July 18, 2021 at 3:00 PM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee. The Burial will follow in Sharon Cemetery. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee is in charge of arrangements. (601) 849-5031.
Chris was a graduate of Magee High School, Jones County Junior College, and The University of Southern Mississippi. He loved his Trojans, Bobcats, and Golden Eagles. He was devoted to his beloved family. Chris loved old television shows, football, ice hockey, racing, board games, music, Butterscotch, Twix, and Keep. He will be greatly missed by everyone who loved him. He especially loved his mother.
He was preceded in death by father, Fay McCurdy, Jr.; grandfathers, Hilton Sullivan and Fay Mac McCurdy, Sr.; grandmother, Pauline Hall McCurdy; sister, Pamela McCurdy; niece, Kaitlynn Billiter; aunt, Lydia Ann Wooten.
Survivors include his mother, Judy McCurdy; sisters, Alice Billiter and Susan Warren (Michael); grandmother, Allie Mae Sullivan; nephews, Tyler Windham, Matthew Ehrgott, and Joseph Warren; niece, Lauren Burkes; uncle, James (Buddy) Sullivan; aunts, Gloria Jean Sullivan and Paula White; and a host of cousins and other family members.
