I like games…I’ve always liked games…so this year our Christmas game really turned out cute and fun!
We divided into two teams…and each team had to “dress” their teammate as a Christmas tree!!! How funny. I provided tissue paper, bows, scissors, tape…and anything on the tree that would not break!
Let the games begin! Lacy Gray and Lillian Claire, daughters of Gray and Emily Montgomery (let’s see…they are my great nieces) …were the “trees” …and the decorating began!
And the winner was…..of course a tie!!! The girls were just darling! The winners received a jar of “big ole dill pickles” (in honor of my son Larkin who loved to get pickles for Christmas in years past).
Fun fun fun…food food food…laughter laughter laughter…but most of all LOVE. There is nothing like family for Christmas.
We missed Breck and his family, who were here last weekend. They spent Christmas at their home in Montgomery…and I can’t blame them…it is tough on children to “leave Santa” and travel 5 hours on Christmas day.
What a wonderful Christmas day…our week of celebration will continue as Connor and Preston arrive on Wednesday! Family and love…that is what Christmas is all about!
Hope you had a great day!
