The Magee Board of Aldermen voted to appoint Chris Jones as the Police Chief replacing Randy Crawford who retired at the end of June.
Chris was hired at a salary of $54,000 and will begin work as the Chief Friday, July 16, 2021.
Five candidates applied for the position.
